Our friends at Star House, the agency that provides safe respite care and social services support for youth experiencing homelessness in Central Ohio, will be featured on the national news magazine show 60 Minutes on Sunday, March 7, at 7 p.m. 60 Minutes airs on CBS.

Star House will be featured on a 60 Minutes story that explores the “COVID generation” and covers how the pandemic has affected children and teens in Franklin County.

The episode will shine a light on youth homelessness in particular and will bring national attention to the challenges young people experiencing homelessness are facing right here, right now in Franklin County during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are so grateful to have participated in this important episode and we hope that you will tune in to learn more about the challenges youth are facing in our community and how we can help during this unprecedented time in history,” said Ann Bischoff, Star House CEO.

Bischoff asks friends of Star House to please share this information with family, friends and networks and encourage them to tune in to the show Sunday.

“Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to helping youth experiencing homelessness in Central Ohio. Together, we can lift young people out of homelessness,” Bischoff said.
